Heather

Heather is the digital discipleship coordinator for Women of Welcome. Her passion for the refugee and immigrant community began after returning to the United States from living in Asia for two years where she gained a heart for those who are marginalized in our communities. Heather continually asks the question “How can the church can be the solution?” She has spent the last two years serving as the director of refugee and immigrant services at a social services agency. She currently lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband and daughter.

Her favorite verse is: “When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made one as well as the other” Ecclesiastes 7:14
